Jan 25, 2007 · I highly recommend all of Kristen's albums - each have incredible songwriting and heartfelt vocals, although sadly most are very difficult to come by. The stripped down acoustics of Real Life Stuff are true to Kristen's original live performances years ago. This is why it makes my list of the 10 best albums ever.

In 1990, Hall released Real Life Stuff and landed a publishing deal with BMG Music. She continued to tour with the Indigo Girls but as their opening act. Amy Ray's Daemon Records issued Hall's Fact & Fiction in 1992 to much critical praise. The favorable notices caught the attention of High Street Records who recruited Hall and reissued that album.

Kristen Hall (born October 24, 1962) is an American folk rock singer-songwriter and a founding member of the country music group Sugarland. She had a solo career and released several albums, formed the country band Sugarland, and more recently has been involved in songwriting collaborations with Courtney Jaye .
