Mortician (band) Mortician is an American deathgrind band formed in Yonkers, New York, in 1989. [ 1] They have released most of their albums since their House by the Cemetery EP with Relapse Records, but have released their latest album with their own label, Mortician Records. They have toured several times throughout America and Europe.
Sam Inzerra has been the live drummer for Mortician since 2002 and will be on any future recordings after “Re-Animated Dead Flesh”. Sam also plays with Funerus and was the drummer of the classic underground band Morpheus Descends. Sam is known for his extremely powerful heavy drumming style. Check out Sam’s Facebook Page.
Generation Kill is an American crossover thrash band formed in Congers, New York in 2008 [1] by vocalist Rob Dukes (ex- Exodus ). After the inclusion of Jason Trenczer, Lou Lehman and Sam Inzerra, the band got to work on writing and recording the first album, Red, White and Blood. Due to creative differences, Inzerra left and Jim DeMaria joined.

Initial run
The band performed their first rehearsal on October 31, 1990, with a lineup consisting of bassist Ken Faggio, drummer Sam Inzerra, vocalist Craig Campbell, and guitarists Rob Yench and Steve Hanson. Before the formation of Morpheus Descends (who at this point were called Morpheus, a name inspired by the comic Sandman), Faggio and Yench were in the band Volatile Zylog, while Campbell, Hanson and Inzerra were in the band Infectious Waste. Post-breakup activity
After the band's break-up in 1998, members of the group went on to work on other projects. Both Stevens and Yench would go on to perform in Incantation. Yench is currently a member of the groups Mausoleum, Typhus, and Engorge. Inzerra plays in the bands Mortician and Funerus and was at one point a member of the crossover thrash group Generation Kill. Reunion
The band performed their first show since their break-up in 1998 with a lineup consisting of founding members Yench, Inzerra, Faggio and Campbell, and newly recruited guitarist Ed Winners in 2013. The idea to reunite was one that had stuck with the band since their initial dissolution. However, it was not until 2012 when Inzerra and Yench met at Maryland Deathfest when the idea was taken seriously. Sep 11, 2023 · Guitarist Roger Beaujard and live drummer Sam Inzerra made it to Ohio with no issues but without lead vocalist and bassist Will Rahmer. Instead of canceling the scheduled show, Mortician made a call to Cleveland up-and-comers Sanguisugabogg to inquire for help. Vocalist Devon Swank and drummer Cody Davidson answered the call.
