Miles Thompson (born December 8, 1990) is a Haudenosaunee professional lacrosse player from the Hawk Clan of the Onondaga Confederacy of the Six Nations of the Grand River.He played for the University at Albany in NCAA Division I college lacrosse and plays for the Georgia Swarm in the National Lacrosse League and Chaos Lacrosse Club in the Premier Lacrosse League.
With a dominant Week 2 performance in New York that was highlighted by 4 goals, Thompson was one of the league's box office attractions in 2019. Thompson finished the season with 21 points and 13 goals for Andy Towers' Chaos LC. Thompson is an Onondaga Nation, New York native where he attended Lafayette High School.
May 28, 2014 · Miles and Lyle Thompson are finalists for the Tewaaraton Award, college lacrosse's highest honor. Either would be the first Native to win it — an irony for a sport created by Natives.
Dec 8, 2022 · Finished as a USILA First Team All-American. 2013: Over 12 games, posted 73 points (43G, 30A), snagged 33 ground balls and caused 5 turnovers. 2012: Played 16 games and recorded 60 points (35G, 25A) while collecting 25 ground balls. 2011: As a freshman with the University of Albany, posted 41 points (29G, 12A) in 15 games.
Nov 23, 2022 · The NLL team announced that forward Miles Thompson, who missed most of last season due to injury, will not play in 2022-23. Thompson, a former third overall draft pick, scored six goals in three games last year.
