Jan 25, 2021 · Still of the Night (1982) 5/10. Client of psychiatrist Roy Scheider is murdered and the client's mistress, Meryl Streep, is suspect #1. Hitchcockian/film noir doesn't pack the needed punch or go into the necessary deep shadows to carry much interest. Streep is the focus here.

Jul 15, 2022 · Still can’t help thinking what a 1997 album with Roth in the style of those two epic 1996 tracks could have been like though. Van Halen, one of the most dysfunctional rock bands of all time. Such a shame. Listening for the first time to ADKOT it hit home so much what a colossal waste of time and talent the entire Van Hagar period was.
Mar 8, 2024 · I remember a Warner DVD release from 2004 of a movie that had never been issued prior on any homevideo medium: THE BIG BOUNCE (1969). Starring Ryan O'Neal, Leigh Taylor-Young, Van Heflin, Robert Webber. It's not on Blu-Ray at this point. I bought a couple of DVDs of it.
Dec 29, 2023 · That seems kind of excessive, I just always assumed the other layer is a 16/44 downsample. If Van Halen is the same as all Mofi releases before it, it’s the same DSD-based master, processed for the SACD layer and processed to PCM for the CD layer. The difference might be in the gear of @wolfyboy3.

Oct 6, 2023 · I decided to buy this set because my original pressing of 5150 was very underwhelming (especially when I played it right after listening to 1984). To my ears the remastered 5150 vinyl is pretty comparable to my original pressing. So from a sound quality perspective I don’t know if I’d say this is a must-buy.
