It is a subsidiary of Mesa Air Group and operates flights as United Express via respective code sharing agreements with United Airlines.

Dec 18, 2022 · Mesa Airlines, a regional carrier based in Phoenix, will no longer fly for American Airlines as of April 3, 2023. Historically, Mesa has operated flights on behalf of American Eagle (the carrier's regional brand ) out of American's Dallas/Fort Worth and Phoenix hubs.
Dec 30, 2022 · Mesa Air has agreed to a new deal with United Airlines as it plans to become exclusively linked to the carrier's passenger operations from next year. The agreement will see the full-service carrier provide $41.2 million in financial backing, as well as another $80 million to cover extra engines.
