Kelvin Anthony Sheppard (born January 2, 1988) is a former American football linebacker and coach who is the inside linebackers coach for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football at LSU.
Kelvin Sheppard enters his third season with the Lions and second season overseeing the entire linebackers unit in 2023. He originally came to Detroit as the outside linebackers coach in 2021. Sheppard guided LB Alex Anzalone to a career year in 2022.
