Robert Allen McAdoo Jr. (/ ˈmækəˌdu / MAK-ə-doo; born September 25, 1951) is an American former professional basketball player and coach. He played 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he was a five-time NBA All-Star and named the NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 1975.
