Cranborne Manor is a Grade I listed country house in Cranborne, Dorset, in southern England. The manor dates back to around 1207/8, and was originally a hunting lodge. [1] It was re-modelled for The 1st Earl of Salisbury in the early 17th century.
Visit the historic gardens of Cranborne Manor, a royal hunting lodge built by King John in the 13th century. The gardens are open to the public on Wednesdays and some Sundays and bank holidays from March to October, with tickets costing £6.50 for adults and £5.50 for seniors.
The garden surrounds the ancient Manor House in the village of Cranborne, and is open to visitors every Wednesday during the open season, from Spring to Autumn.

An old house with a seventeenth century garden (influenced by renaissance Italy) which was re-discovered in the nineteenth century and planted in the Arts and Crafts style in the twentieth cnetury. The original design was by John Tradescant. It has a mount and a grass-terraced tilt yard.
A historic and beautiful garden with several areas of formal and wild planting, featuring roses, lavender, yew hedges and a river. Open to the public on selected dates in July 2024, with refreshments and plants for sale.
