Gareth James Edwards (born 13 July 1975) is a British film director and screenwriter. He gained recognition for Monsters (2010), an independent film in which he served as writer, director, cinematographer, and visual effects artist.
Gareth Edwards is a British filmmaker who has directed Monsters, Godzilla and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. He also created the visual effects for several TV shows and movies, such as UFO's: The Secret Evidence and Space Race.
