Dark Phoenix (titled onscreen, marketed internationally and released on home media as X-Men: Dark Phoenix) is a 2019 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics X-Men characters. It is a sequel to 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse, the tenth installment overall in the X-Men film series, and the fourth and final installment of the prequel films.

Synopsis. In 1975, eight-year-old Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) inadvertently uses her Telekinesis to cause a car accident that kills her mother (Hannah Emily Anderson), and apparently, her father John Grey (Scott Shepherd). During the crash, Jean formed a protective energy barrier around herself, which protected her from any harm.
