  5. Tales from the Darkside (Technically Creepshow 3) is a great horror film, and actually better than the decent Creepshow 2. This film has a mysterious fantastical tone, with spikes of horror, and (surprisingly) romance. Tales from the Darkside has much better effects than the Second film, and great characters/actors.

The series was popular enough to spawn a theatrical movie in 1990, but the movie falls far short of the original television episodes.
