While being transported to prison, two convicts -- veteran criminal George Martin (Jack Warner) and not-so-tough Willie Stannard (George Cole) -- manage to escape from custody. Martin and Stannard have to work together if they're going to make it to safety. The only problem is that they're handcuffed to each other. With the police on their trail, the two men try to break their bonds. Things go from bad to worse when Martin murders a man who spots them sawing through the handcuffs. Wikipedia
