“Succession” swept nearly all the major acting awards for drama, with Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook and Matthew Macfadyen winning for their last-season performances.
In total, Succession won six Emmys on Monday night, including best actor and actress in a drama series (Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook), as well as best supporting actor for Matthew Macfadyen.
The HBO show about a powerful media family took home six Emmys, including the top prize for the second consecutive year. Series creator Jesse Armstrong thanked HBO and joked about the show's satire of divisive politics.
