Spooks (known as MI-5 in certain countries) is a British spy drama television series, created by David Wolstencroft. It debuted on BBC One on 13 May 2002. The series follows the activities of the intelligence officers of Section D in MI5.
S1.E6 ∙ The Lesser of Two Evils. Patrick McCann, the leader of an Irish splinter group, walks into a safe house armed with a grenade, and demands to speak to someone at MI5 about some crucial information he has on a Middle-Eastern terrorist group called Asabiyah.

After a second suicide attack claims the life of a radical Muslim cleric, an anti-Islamic organization known as the Sons of Phineas claim responsibility. Though they have no information on the organization, MI-5 focuses on Steven Paynton, who runs a homeless shelter where both men lived before their attacks.
