Updated as at 15 May 2024. Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) was officially launched on 13 August 2002 as a not-for-profit private university providing affordable quality education. It is established under the UTAR Education Foundation and registered under the Malaysian Private.
UTAR offers various programmes that are approved by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and most of them have full accreditation from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). Check the status of UTAR programmes by MQA, JPA, and professional bodies.
UTAR is a Malaysian university established in 2002, offering over 110 academic programmes in nine faculties, four centres and three institutes. It has 32 research centres and laboratories, and collaborates with over 330 institutions and corporations for international exchanges, research and training.
UTAR offers over 70 undergraduate programmes in various fields of study, with practical learning opportunities and engaging teaching and learning environment. UTAR also has international partnerships for postgraduate degrees and student exchanges.
