Mar 26, 2019 · Aizawa's hero name isn't Eraserhead because he's a big David Lynch fan. He got that name because his Quirk-- MHA 's term for superpowers--is named "Erasure." It allows him to temporarily nullify the Quirk of anyone around him (except people who've been physically mutated by their Quirks, like A-1 student Shoji "Tentacole" Mezo.
