Alt title: Gakkou no Kaidan. Satsuki and Keichiro are new students of the haunted Amanogawa Elementary School - a school where their late mother attended as a child. Soon they meet the perverted Hajima Aoyama and #1 spirit researcher Leo Kakinoki, and thus their ghost hunting group is formed!
Satsuki and Keiichirou run into a couple other kids from the school, Leo (or Reo), Momoko, and Hajime. The kids must work together to defeat the evil ghost Amonojaku using notes from Satsukis mother. After defeating the demon, it's soul gets transferred into the cat.
Stories spread about something preying on children who are all alone, and the gang gets scared. Especially since their parents will be out for the night! A deadly ghost with a sickle in hand stalks Satsuki and her friends.
