Kevin McCarthy (February 15, 1914 – September 11, 2010) was an American stage, film and television actor, remembered as the male lead in the horror science fiction film Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956).
Kevin McCarthy was a versatile character actor who appeared in nearly 100 movies and TV shows, including Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Death of a Salesman, and UHF. He was nominated for an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and a Tony, and was the brother of author Mary McCarthy.
