May 11, 2021 · remove all mods and the mod manager, completly delete them from your system. see if the game launches without modlaoder and its mods. if it does, you need to download a specific version of the mod loader. version 2.4.3 is what you want. version 2.4.4, the latest, did not work for me either.
If you’re trying to remove a specific mod from your mod manager profile and it’s not working, try creating a new profile. You could also try exporting your profile, editing the file to delete the mod listing, then importing it again.

I see the file downloading on the browser but when it finishes it says it couldn't download. So I click on the retry thing and the file name changes and said it needs authorization.

Are you running the game with it installed to another drive other than C:\ - if so the mod manager won't install - Just fixed this problem on my machine this way. I was stuck with mods not working. Tried most things mentioned above, but nothing seemed to help. My mod manager was showing SML 2.2.1. SOLUTION for me was to uninstall mod manager and reinstall it. Now SML is showing 3.0.0. and mods are showing in the game again. All works fine again :-)

You can attempt to install the mod with mismatched versions, but most of the time, it won’t work. Now just unzip the downloaded .smod/.zip file into <game root>/FactoryGame/Mods . When you’re done, you should have roughly the following folder structure:

The mod manager can’t find my game! You might see error messages like: No Satisfactory Installs Found. SMM queries the APIs of the Epic and Steam game store apps to determine where your game is. Temporal_Illusion. • • Edited. 🚩 SOLUTION FOUN D (I believe ) According to the Satisfactory Mod Manager (SMM) Install Instructions you must MUST launch the game at least once so that the mod manager can find it. If you do not do this, the mod manager will not work at all.

Aug 6, 2022 · SATISFACTORY MOD MANAGER. Downloaded the mod manager but it doesn't load up. It shows up in my task bar as if its running. I hover my mouse over the icon and I get a preview of just black. Is this thing broken and was never fixed? I uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and get the same results of it not loading.

Sep 11, 2020 · Satisfactory Mod Manager issue. It could be me (probably is) but each time I run SMM to play I get a crash report on log out. I went to the ficsit.app site downloaded SMM and installed it. Then I added the mods I wanted to try (Daisy Chain Power Cables and X3 Roads).
