American Eagle is a brand name for the regional branch of American Airlines, under which six individual regional airlines operate short- and medium-haul feeder flights. Three of these airlines, Envoy Air (formerly American Eagle Airlines), Piedmont Airlines, and PSA Airlines, are wholly owned subsidiaries of the American Airlines Group.
American Airlines serves flights to destinations across the globe, whereas American Eagle operates flights to airports across the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
Together with our American Eagle regional partners, we offer thousands of flights daily to more than 350 destinations in more than 60 countries. American has hubs in Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Washington, D.C.
