Jun 4, 2015 · I am glad we stopped by, it is definitely worth a visit. You can park just at the paint pots which makes it a walk rather than a hike. I enjoyed the wooden signs telling about the story and some of the science behind the colours. I have been to the paint pots after Johnston Canyon, but it was nothing like this wicked orange stream.
The Paint Pots is a brief and low intensity hike, but really muddy in some areas. Some of the signs indicated it was a 40 minute hike, but we felt it was more like only 20 minutes or so. The hike was short and it is an interesting spot with red clay mud and some old indigenous history.

Jan 26, 2024 · The Paint Pots deserve their own selection as they are so close to Marble Canyon, it would be a crime not to visit. You can hike to them from the Marble Canyon trailhead, or alternatively, they are just a 5-minute drive away from Marble Canyon.
After spending more than an hour in the car we were eager to get out and stretch our legs so we stopped at the Paint Pots. It's a short walk on rather muddy trail, and we never get tired of hiking, but the pots wouldn't be worth the minimal effort it took to reach them.

See my trip report for the first section from Paint Pots to Helmet Falls here. Or see my full Rockwall Trail guide here.
Mar 25, 2021 · 13 A Huge, Unfinished Skyscraper. While it may sound like one of the more boring places to visit in GTA 5, the construction buildings are actually some of the tallest buildings that you can scale without a vehicle. It takes some maneuvering, but it's well worth it when you reach the top.
