Aurora's band was formed in January 2014 with Silja Sol as the female backup singer. She was replaced in January 2015 by Selma Stang. Selma was replaced in January 2017 by Silja again, who is still the current backup singer. Aurora's original guitar player was Odd Martin.
Silja then became a member of Aurora's band on backing vocals, bass synthesizer, and vocal/technical effects. She was the support act for various AURORA shows with her own set. In early 2015 Silja left Aurora's touring band. In 2017 she joined again as a core member.
