La Sarraz, In the Middle of the World Perched on a rocky ridge, the small town of La Sarraz (485 m. above sea level) dominates a plain of fields of wheat and rapeseed which face the snowy Alps. It is located at the limit of the watershed: the waters of the Nozon flow in both the North Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.
