First Capital Connect (FCC) was a British train operating company, owned by FirstGroup, that operated the Thameslink and Great Northern sectors from April 2006 to September 2014 which later became the Thameslink, Southern and Great Northern (TSGN) franchise.
Jan 20, 2014 · The first modernised class 365 First Capital Connect (FCC) train has entered into service on the Great Northern route in UK, to deliver better travelling experience to passengers and value for money. The new train is the first of the 40 four-carriage class 365 FCC trains that will be upgraded over a period of two years.
First Capital Connect services serve a new underground station right beneath St Pancras proper. From St Pancras International, passengers can find connections to Europe, high speed services to Kent and fast East Midlands trains services to Nottingham, Leicester, Derby and Sheffield.
