Harry A. Gampel Pavilion is a 10,299-seat multi-purpose arena in Storrs, Connecticut, United States, on the campus of the University of Connecticut (UConn). The arena opened on January 21, 1990, [1] and is the largest on-campus arena in New England.
During the summer of 1996, the original capacity of Gampel Pavilion (8,241) was increased with additional seating placed above each of the four entrance quadrants of the building.
