     Using TcpClient and related libraries is definitely the correct answer.

     edit: For knowing what IP to send it to... You could either have a list of internal IPs to connect to, or have each networked computer 'subscribe' to your program if it's hosted statically on a box. For my purposes, when I'm using this code, the host process sits on a known server. Client processes that want to receive messages sends a quick message to the host, which will then record the IP to be able to send to later.

     Obtaining the IP of a requesting client:

     A core SFTP protocol does not support duplicating a remote file.

     There's draft of copy-file

     /copy-data

     extensions to the protocol. But those are supported by only few SFTP servers. In the most widespread OpenSSH SFTP server it is supported only by very recent version 9.0. Other servers are for example ProFTPD mod_sftp

     and Bitvise SFTP server.

     The JSch library does not support the extensions.

     Alternatives:

     • If you have a shell access, open an "exec" channel, and use shell cp command (or equivalent command for your server's OS).See Exec.java example.
     • Otherwise, your only option is to download the file to a local temporary location and upload its copy back to a different/target remote directory. Or use streams, to avoid a temporary file.

     You could use Environment.SpecialFolder.Desktop to locate desktop folder. Also, if you use the same client which you applied the authentication, the site remains the client as logged in because the client stores the auth cookie after login process. So, to download file;

     Also, your code snipped lacks await for async method;

     await client.ExecuteAsync(request, response =>{ Console.WriteLine(response.Content);});

     If you don't want to use async, just call the method like that;

     The Command-prompt has a For loop where you can run a command as a loop.

     For help its: For /? and check online for more specific examples.

     Eg: FOR /L %a IN (1,1,150) DO Echo "curl -O https://website.com/part-%a.mp3"

     Keeping in mind that the above For loop only writes the text to the screen as a way of ensuring the command looks correct, when you get the output looking correct, remove the ECHO and make the command FOR /L %a IN (1,1,150) DO curl -O https://website.com/part-%a.mp3

     In PowerShell curl is an alias for Invoke-WebRequest so you'd need to work on a loop in PowerShell doing curl or Invoke-WebRequest.

     Eg: 1..150 | ForEach-Object { "Invoke-WebRequest -uri https://website.com/part-$Psitem.mp3" }

     Keep in mind the Powershell example only writes a string to the console, when you have the output looking correct you can make the actual command:

     1..150 | ForEach-Object {Invoke-WebRequest -uri https://website.com/part-$Psitem.mp3"}
