  2. Nov 26, 2020 · Distance: 1.9 km. Elevation gain: 50m. Time: 30-40 mins. What to bring: This is super short. You only really need your camera. Facilities: There are loos in the car park. Dogs: Yes (on a leash) How hard is it? Easy-peasy. This is more like sightseeing than hiking. Extra notes: There is no cell service in Kootenay National Park.

  5. Jan 26, 2024 · The Paint Pots deserve their own selection as they are so close to Marble Canyon, it would be a crime not to visit. You can hike to them from the Marble Canyon trailhead, or alternatively, they are just a 5-minute drive away from Marble Canyon.

    • The Big Combo hike. Why we love this Lake Louise hike - it has it all: mountains, glaciers, unforgettable lake views, teahouses. It’s one of the greatest hikes we’ve ever done.
    • The Larch Valley Trail. Why we love this Lake Louise Hike - this walk would be incredibly scenic at any time of year, but if you’re lucky enough to be able to hike it in the fall you will have a hard time getting over the breathtaking colours.
