In addition, he was a finalist for the Ben Jobe Award. In 2001-02, Jones led the Bulldogs to their first Ivy League title since 1962-63 and the first postseason tournament victory in the history of Yale basketball. The team won 21 games and reached the second round of the National Invitation Tournament.
