Janet is a principal character in The Good Place. She is played by D'Arcy Carden. Janet is the informational assistant in The Good Place. She is the source of all information and knowledge for humans within The Good Place, and she can also provide them with any object as requested.
She is best known for portraying Janet in the NBC sitcom The Good Place (2016–2020), for which she earned a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, and Greta Gill in the Prime series A League of Their Own (2022).
