Defendant Jennifer Dumas, Inc. ("JDI"), is a California corporation with its principal place of business in New York City since 1986. Dumas controls and licenses the uses of the copyrights and related ownership rights that she obtained in Nagel's artworks upon his death through JDI (hereinafter, collectively "Dumas" unless otherwise specified).
