A great admirer of Andy Newmark’s no-frills solid pocket drumming (he cites Roxy Music’s Avalonas his all-time gotta-have-it record), Jonathan has recently put aside his double-bass monster kit for the not-so-simple pleasures of a basic four-piece kit as a way to keep things fresh and challenging.
