King Swamp is the self-titled debut album of the British rock band King Swamp. Originally released in May 1989, the album was well received by critics. But, its failure to peak even in the top-150 on the Billboard 200 proved to be a bad omen.
King Swamp was a British rock band, consisting of Walter Wray (vocals), Dave Allen (bass), Steve Halliwell (keyboards), Dominic Miller (guitar), and Martyn Barker (drums). The band was formed in 1988 in London, after Allen and Barker had parted ways with Shriekback and recruited Wray as frontman.
"Year Zero" is a song by King Swamp, featured on the album King Swamp in 1988. It appeared in the Miami Vice episode "Freefall". King Swamp was formed by two former members of Shriekback, Dave Allen & Martyn Barker.
