The Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC; Chinese: 九廣鐵路公司) is a Hong Kong wholly government-owned railway and land asset manager. It was established in 1982 under the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation Ordinance for the purposes of operating the Kowloon–Canton Railway (KCR), and to construct and operate other new railways.
Since 1982, it has become the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation, a statutory public corporation wholly owned by the Government. In 2007, the Corporation granted a service concession to the MTR Corporation Limited to operate its several railway lines.
