Take Rte 6 off of I-70 (an alternative to the Eisenhower Tunnel). The road is windy but scenery is beautiful. When you get to the marker for Continental Divide, pull over and wander around for a beautiful view of snow capped mountains and fresh air, 11,990 feet about sea level. Read more.
