Jul 31, 2018 · FLORISSANT, Mo. (AP) — Robert Lowery Sr., a longtime police chief and mayor in the St. Louis suburb of Florissant, has died. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Lowery died Monday at a hospital, a day after he fell at his home. He was 79.

Mayor Timothy Lowery has served the City of Florissant for over three decades. Tim has been the Chief of Police since 2012 until being elected Mayor of the City of Florissant in April of 2019 and re-elected in 2023.
