The Orin Borsten Collection is arranged in four series: Series One: Correspondence, Series Two: Literature, Series Three: Film, and Series Four: Photographs. In the Correspondence series, the subseries includes Personal Correspondence and Non-Orin Correspondence.
Borsten is survived by his son Joseph; his daughter Joan Borsten Vidov, a film executive; a grandson and a great-grandson.
Publicist and author. A former Hollywood publicist, Borsten also wrote stage and screenplays, but was best known for coauthoring the Meta Carpenter Wilde memoir, A Loving Gentleman: The Love Story of William Faulkner and Meta Carpenter (1976). During the 1920s and 1930s, Borsten got his start as an actor.
