Nightmare Mode is the second mode in That's Not My Neighbor, added the 21st of May, 2024. The game is available in the paid version of the game. Players that have an old version need to download the latest version, replace the .exe file.
Storywise, Nightmare Mode takes place in the doorman's nightmare, hence the highly distorted neighbors. Aliens take over the building and disguise themselves as neighbors instead of doppelgängers.
The mode serves as a harder version to those who have already played the game and adds the following
•Instant killing upon letting a doppelgänger in
•The player will be killed by "The entity" if they kill two neighbors
•The imperfections from the doppelgängers are much more subtle
•The Nightmare Clown from Unlikely will come at the end the shift and forces the player to play a card game with him
•Several new NPCS/reskins as their Nightmare versions
