It's a sign of good art when a game is able to touch people on an emotional level, but sometimes things hit too close to home. Yeah, it makes sense that Max would do something about her, even with the ending undoing everything.
Cause she is very innocent, sweet and has a very relatable story for many people. One can relate with overbearing religious parents, others can relate being sexually abused, others simply been bullied and have empathy for her. She has no flaws that make you distrust her so people loved the character, as did I.
