Jul 21, 2013 · It's that this kinda shows exactly how horrible OKC is for actually meeting people (though it only shows a small subset of the kinds of people you'd typically see on there)—you'll usually get hipster douches, Mr. or Ms. Generic, people who seem to be actively trying to not meet people, and trolls.

  4. In general people enjoy dissecting their favorite works and reading trivia and other people's opinions about them, which is what people enjoy the most about TV Tropes. Most articles have a "laconic" description, which is a single line describing the trope, so it's usually not that difficult to figure out what the trope is about.

  6. Anyone got tropes in otoge that you always hear complaints about but you... actually kinda like? It can be a guilty pleasure, the sort of thing you understand why other people hate, or it can be something that you genuinely don't understand the negativity for.

  7. What you wrote comes across as intensely… mystical? Not very down to earth. People could be intimidated by that. If possible, make some of it more basic and relatable; otherwise, people might have a hard time figuring out how to start a conversation with you. Don’t repeat anything in your profile, e.g. “representational art.”
