Oct 2, 2018 · The series was cancelled after only one season, and I remember reading somewhere online, a few years after it was cancelled, that the producers had written the whole plot for the series but couldn't release it to fans due to copyright issue or something similar.
Yet with Earth in a much stronger strategic position, there is hope despite the losses and sacrifices. These closing elements of the plot were written at a point when the producers knew that the show was likely to be cancelled.
