Overview. A would-be filmmaker and actress shake up the industry with a trick dog who gets discovered by a studio bus driver in the 1920s. Michael Winner. Director.
Synopsis. In 1924, Estie Del Ruth takes her chances on becoming a silent film star and travels to Hollywood. But on the trip, the German Shepherd who followed her is discovered by a studio bus driver and it's the dog who becomes famous. Not only does Won Ton Ton become a movie star, but he improves the lives of person who gets to know him.
