   Because there are far better youtube channels that review games and things relating to gaming far better than IGN currently does. People like ACG, are literally providing the original style of actual honest reviews that IGN used to, starting back in the late 90's and doing so with minimal investment required with practically zero staff.

   • Now watch as this fact has absolutely no impact upon future discussions of IGN. As a larger website, it's also possible that they simply review more games than a site that focuses on the major releases. If they review more crappy shovelware than RPS, their average score is going to be lower.

   Do people at IGN have a bad taste in movies?

   • It would seem that most people at IGN have horrible taste in movies. The only other site I visit with any regularity is Rev3 Games, and I just found that place a few months ago. Sessler is the reason I first started watching their videos, but I've come to really like Max Scoville and Tara Long too. I trust their reviews more than I trust IGN's.

   Does IGN sell review scores?

   • If IGN was biased toward certain games due to incentives (advertising, exclusivity, etc), it will show up in larger titles or with specific publishers, but not in general. I don't think they review braised on ads. Yeah, I definitely don't believe that they sell review scores.
