    Who can see my personal information on Fitbit?

    When you first created your Fitbit account, your personal information is set to private by default:

    Birthday (if you sign in with your Fitbit login)

    Your display name is the name your friends see when they look at your Fitbit profile, when you send them a message, or in other interactions in the Community tab of the Fitbit app.

    You can also choose a user name that your friends will see instead of your real name.

    4. Under Edit Names, tap the name or user name you want to change and enter your changes.
