1. While Ben is in the land office checking a deed, he says, "We will prove this paper isn't worth (pause) the paper it's written on." Lorne Greene seemed to realize the mistake, hence the pause. He likely meant to say the deed wasn't worth the paper it was written on.

Nov 17, 2023 · Judging by the age of the tall pines, Sam Hill’s blacksmith pasture ceased being a pasture a very long time ago. While clearing the pines, popping the stumps, and excavating the cellar hole, we found relics left behind from Hill’s enterprise.
