Aug 1, 2022 · I'd think the mid summer bite on most species could be tough. Especially walleye and smallmouth. Deeper would be my recommendation with blade baits or jigging with minnows. Probably pick up both of those species with those techniques. I've only fished Hubbard in spring and fall.
The fishing at Hubbard lake is very good and can be fished during all seasons as this lake ices over during parts of the winter season. While it is great for fishing this lake is also a favorite for Michigan vacationers.
Nov 1, 2018 · Hubbard Lake Fishing Reports. 6/23/2022. Conditions were sunny (bluebird day) with winds out of the NNW at 7-10 mph, high 70s F air temp, 67-68 F water temp. This was my first time at Hubbard. Interesting lake to figure out.
Jan 24, 2018 · 8 of us fished Hubbard last Friday and Saturday both days from sun up until and hour after sundown. We decided to divide up and try and get on some fish and then circle the wagons. This worked for us last year and we were rewarded with limit catches.
