S1.E2 ∙ The Promise. Larry is upset when the up-and-coming comedian David Spade appears on rival Jay Leno's late-night talk show and tells the same jokes he was supposed to tell on his show first; Hank gives his elderly groupies a tour of the studio.
Larry embarrasses himself during an interview and enlists Arthur to help him get it edited. Mary Lou hits Hank's car and ends up on a date with him when she has trouble telling him about it. Hank gets in trouble when he blames Vince Vaughn.
