Hideaki Itsuno (伊津野 英昭, Itsuno Hideaki) is a Japanese video game director and designer. He was born in Osaka Japan, and took a job working at Capcom. He has been a director and producer for several series at Capcom, including Rival Schools, Power Stone, Devil May Cry and Dragon's Dogma.

Dragon's Dogma was conceptualized by director Hideaki Itsuno in 2000 and the project was successfully pitched the project and production began in 2008. The 150-strong staff, who had previously worked on Capcom franchises such as Street Fighter , Breath of Fire , and Devil May Cry , took inspiration from Devil May Cry .
