Danitra Vance (1954-1994) was an American comedian and actress who was the first Black woman and one of the first LGBT members of Saturday Night Live. She also performed in theater, film, and won an Obie Award and an NAACP Image Award.
Danitra Vance was a Chicago-born actress who appeared in The War of the Roses, Jumpin' at the Boneyard, and Miami Vice. She also performed on Saturday Night Live and wrote a solo show about her breast cancer experience.
