Ed Anderson is Head of Organic Chemistry, Professor of Organic Chemistry, and tutorial fellow at Jesus College. He heads a research team working on many aspects of synthetic organic chemistry, and collaborates with numerous pharmaceutical companies and academic groups around the world.
Head of Organic Chemistry, Professor of Organic Chemistry. Biography. I grew up in Leicestershire and was the first in my family to go to University. I was actually an undergraduate at Oxford, and did my Part II with Harry Anderson in the early days of his group.

Edward Alexander Anderson, known as Ed Anderson, is an organic chemist based at the University of Oxford. In 2016, the university awarded him the title of Professor of Organic Chemistry.
In 2022, I graduated with First Class honours in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, and shortly after, I rejoined the University of Oxford as an SBM CDT DPhil student. In January 2023, I began working in the Gouverneur group on novel carbonyl protecting groups as a part of the SBM CDT DPhil course.
