  1. Mar 30, 2007 · The lookout is a strong movie, and it is the phenomenal acting which holds the movie together the best. Scott Frank has a way of getting the best out of his actors here, and what we get is a psychological drama that holds your interest. At a brisk 99 minutes, it seemed over much too quickly.

  3. The Lookout (2007) is a great movie. This is a great movie that deserves credit. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Jeff Daniels are fantastic. JGL really delivers on this role. What I like about this movie is it’s driven on the story no special effects or huge budget. The tone and look (sometimes bleak) really sell the movie.

  6. I strongly believe that Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Leonardo DiCaprio are the two best actors of my generation, and The Lookout is a stellar example of Gordon-Levitt's remarkable talent. At first glance, the story appears straightforward: a young man who has suffered a traumatic brain injury is targeted by a local thug to be used by his crew and ...

Mar 30, 2007 · Feb 12, 2014. A Solid and at times exceptional film. The performances, particularly Jeff Daniels' as Levitt's constantly captivating blind friend, are all very good - accompanied by some unique and well-executed writing.
